Cheltenham Township Library System mission is to serve our community. The library is funded through state (12%) and local government (78%) appropriations and through donations (7%) and generated revenue (3%). You can help us in many ways:
Advocacy – Contact elected officials to voice your support for adequate funding for public libraries. Writing letters, making phone calls and sending e-mails while budgets are being decided is an effective way to help your library. Click here for contact information.
Donate – Donations to the library help with operating costs and fund projects that we could not ordinarily undertake. Your gift can be earmarked for those services you wish to support and is tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. Print and complete the donation form (PDF). Mail or take it to one of our branch libraries. We are most grateful for any contribution you would care to make.
Volunteer – Contact your local branch for ongoing or one-time volunteer opportunities. Become a member of the Friends of the Library. Meet other people who love their library.
