Friends of the Glenside Library

Board Meetings are held the first Wednesday of each month except during July and August.

Mission
The Board of the Friends of GFL strives to provide financial support for the Library through public advocacy for state and local funding as well as fund raising in the private sector. Other projects aim to increase community awareness of services provided by the Library through programming and enhancements of the interior and exterior facility.

Projects & Cultural Programs
The Friends have provided funding assistance for:

Children’s Summer Reading Programs
Maintenance of the Exterior Landscape
Signage and Landscaping
Purchase of Books and Materials
Speakers - Local authors, Arcadia University Faculty
Children’s Programming
Summer weekend hours
